When searching for a chemical structure against the full text of a patent, you may choose to have SureChEMBL only search particular portions of the document.

Section Description
All All of the following four document elements are included in the search.
Title or Abstract The document title and abstract provide a very short summary of the invention.
Claims The document claims point out and distinctly declare the subject matter which the applicant regards as the invention and define the scope of the patent protection
Description The document description provides a clear and concise explanation of known existing technologies related to the new invention as well as an explanation of how this invention could be applied to solve problems not addressed by the existing technologies; specific embodiments of the new technology are also usually given.
